When the chips are down and the odds seem stacked against you, your knowledge and expertise become cornerstones upon which you can defend yourself. Test your wit and your ability to think on your feet, as you attempt to exonerate yourself of wrongdoing in front of a panel of judges determined to make you slip up.
PRELIMS FORMAT:
- Prelims will be conducted ONLINE
- Entries to be submitted via Google forms
- Participants will be given a case scenario in which there is alleged malpractice, and they will have to explain their innocence as the treating doctor.
- Contestants will be judged on the points presented, delivery, and their knowledge of the case.
- Further details will be given in the WhatsApp group to the participants.
FINALS:
- Finals will be conducted OFFLINE
- Participants are given case scenarios in which there is alleged malpractice.
- All potential case scenarios will be given to the participants a few days prior to the event.
- At the time of the event, each participant will be randomly assigned a case.
- The participant will have 3 minutes to present their case to the judges, starting from the time of admission to the moment of death/discharge.
- Judges will then cross-examine the participant to identify errors.
- Contestants will be judged on the points presented, delivery, and their knowledge of the case.
